My Mission Trip to Tanzania

We are utilizing much of what we know from years of being under the superior leadership of Perimeter Church. The people who have started UboraTZ were (and are) involved in the ministry when it was under Perimeter. In addition to my administrative work, I am also the Upper Primary Mentor Teacher, spending lots of time with the Standards 4 through 7 teachers to help them with pedagogy and subject area content.

While we work to make a full transition to having the Tanzania ministry under UboraTZ, there are still trips that will go through Perimeter, including the one I’m writing to you about.

In my new role, I have been asked to raise support for 2 of my probable 4 trips per year. I have already been to Tanzania in February (working heavily on the administration side of things) and in May (some admin and lots of teacher mentoring) and most recently in July with the Morehouse School of Medicine Clinic/Health Workers Team.

This September trip is one for which I must raise support. I will be giving leadership to the team as we train teachers, give classroom support, put on an accounting seminar for local business owners, and more! I will be staying an extra week past the team’s departure to focus on mentoring the Standard 4-7 teachers in creating Units of study with their curriculum.

Would you prayerfully consider supporting this work? The most important thing you can do is PRAY! Pray for God to provide for the team’s full financial needs.  Pray for team dynamics and relationships.  Pray for us to be open to the Holy Spirit’s guidance as we develop our seminars, meet with business owners, etc.  If you would like to give financially you may do so online by clicking on the link below. All donations are tax deductible. I am charged with raising $2700.00 for this trip to cover airfare and ministry expenses.

Thanks for all the love and support you have shown me over the years in my pursuit of God’s calling for me to go to Africa so often! I wish every one of you could see in person the impact that your prayers and gifts have on the people of this growing village.  One day you will meet these precious people in heaven and they will be able to thank you face to face and you will hear, “Asante sana! Tunakupenda!” (Thank you very much! We love you!)
